They’re rolling out a super cute clip reel right now, complete with exploding Santas, so stay tuned if you want all the goodies. And, you know, spoilers. Let the live blog begin!
2:10 p.m. Moderator’s already confirming this season’s big death.
2:12 p.m. Tabloid trials be damned, there are several thousand people in here rupturing their lungs for DB. Every mention of Booth, Buffy, Angel or, you know, nouns have them foaming at the mouth. Especially when David brings up his desire to do an “Angel” movie.
2:15 p.m. David’s a little miffed that he hasn’t been asked to join “The Avengers,” but wants you to talk to Joss about any future “Angel” projects. Oh, and wait, is that Emily?
2:17 p.m. Confirming what we all expected, she’s here. She got the day off from shooting “Perfect Family” with Kathleen Turner. Apparently she’s a lesbian in the film, hopefully not with KT. (No offense)
2:18 p.m. The Booth/Brennan reunion for season six premiere just filmed last night.
2:19 p.m. Re: last season’s admission of love, David says “I told her I’d catch her if she fell. She didn’t want to fall.”
2:20: p.m. Guys, really, don’t take out all your hate for Booth’s new love interest on Hart Hanson. He’s the nicest guy — and we’ve got some exclusive scoop on his plan for Booth and Brennan’s inevitable union later this weekend.
2:22 p.m. Securing the rights to the “X-Files” music for last season’s “The X in the File?” Not easy.
2:24 p.m. The long-awaited double-Deschanel episode? So hard to make it happen. Zooey’s secret scheduling conflict? She’s three-feet shorter than her big sis — and so embarrassed about it.
2:26 p.m. This season’s victimized cast member is gonna D.I.E. No brush with death. And it officially happens right after the Grave Digger’s final bow.
2:27 p.m. Hart’s always thought of the Grave Digger as Brennan but evil. The new villain? Maybe a version of Booth but evil, he teases.
2:29 p.m. Double-decker buses… too dangers for David’s taste. Emily’s fear? Snake-handling in the season premiere set in the Maluku Islands (AKA: the FOX lot?)
Guest question time!
2:31 p.m. Which character from “Bones” is your favorite besides your own? Diplomatic answers ensue. Awe, David just said that Booth and Brennan were the same character… as a “crime solving sandwich.” (ed. note: Honestly, I love their love)
2:32 p.m. Now David and Hart are just slamming Emily’s vegan ways.
2:33 p.m. Emily and David love “Sweets.” But what about Zach? It’s always on Hart’s list of stories, but he doesn’t know when. He hopes.
2:34 p.m. Any actors who particularly inspired David and Emily? David votes for Gregory Peck, a “guy’s guy,” much like choice number 2: Steve McQueen. (No, not that one, TVD fans). Emily picks Kathleen Turner. How convenient…
2:35 p.m. Is it even worth it for the two to end up together on the show? It’s a journey folks, and it’s progressing quite well. Things are about to get deep. It’s not will they or won’t they, it’s when. And they’re not saying, folks.
2:37 p.m. We may not have Booth and Brennan, but Hodgins and Angela are quite happy now. Their seven months in Paris (Ahem, Century City) are apparently blissful. And pregnant?
2:40 p.m. David is saying all sorts of sweet things about shows and cast-mates, past and present.
2:41 p.m. Emily just sees a note that says “please remember, people in the audience may be under 18.” They apologize for the F-bombs. (We censored those.)
2:42 p.m. David is asked what inspires him to be an actor — and oh my god really? I’m sure that’s been revealed 187 times before People mag profiles. NEXT!
2:43 p.m. Emily is always so good with the writers’ love. I imagine she’s one of the best actresses to work with.
2:44 p.m. Poor Hart’s not getting a word in edgewise, between Emily and David’s improvisational cutesy professions of love.
2:45 p.m. A 3D episode? David wants 9D, but Hart is pulling for at least 3. It could happen, but it doesn’t sound like it’s more than just a thought. Though we all agree — yes, I’m involved now — the “Angelanator” would be sa-weet in 3D.
2:47 p.m. David’s singing (whining?) the “Batman” TV series theme to a girl with a question about non-Booth/Brennan couples. Angela and Hodgins, by the way, they’re staying together. They’re a rock.
2:49 p.m. Kathy Reichs, author of the Temperance Brennan books, is sitting behind me and now making her way up to the stage. David’s singing her up.
2:50 p.m. Animal rights issues on the show, Emily’s vegan lifestyle makes it hard for her to not be compassionate during the recent episode about bad conditions in chicken farms. Oh, topical! (This is what we ended on, really)
2:51 p.m. Kathy has two seconds to speak, the cute thing. She’s got a new “Bones” book out this year.
The premiere is September 23. For more on what to expect, check back later for exclusive video shot just before the panel, including our interviews with Boreanaz, Deschanel and Hart.
