Given what’s happened to Walter White and his family lately, the title of Sunday’s (Oct. 2) “Breaking Bad” episode, “End Times,” seems exactly right.
Walt (Bryan Cranston) has a target on his head, and a whole lot less money than he thought he did. Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) has a bounty out for Hank (Dean Norris), and while Walt knows he’s likely the actual (or at least the primary) target, Skyler (Anna Gunn) can’t quite get her head around that.
Which leads to the scene above, with Walt and Skyler frantically packing to head to Hank’s house and protective custody, while DEA agents wait for them outside. Except Walt’s not going.
It’s tough to think the final two episodes could top last week’s “Crawl Space,” but we’re going to be really, really interested in seeing how the show tries to do just that.
