The CW has announced its plans for the Summer 2013 line-up, with some new reality shows and some old favorites in the mix. “Breaking Pointe” Season 2 — The CW’s first summer reality series to survive to a sophomore season — will return, and the network is also the new home of “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” formerly of ABC.
“Whose Line Is It Anyway” will be revived after 9 years off the air with original cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie and “The Talk’s” Aisha Tyler replacing Drew Carey as the host. It returns Tuesday, July 16 at 8 p.m. with two back-to-back new episodes.
Then, at 9 p.m. that same night, The CW’s new dating show, “Perfect Score,” will premiere. Hosted by Arielle Kebbell (who we loved on “The Vampire Diaries” and “90210”), the show gives players the chance to win a date and cash if they can correctly identify their perfect match. That will also air two back-to-back episodes on premiere night.
The following week, July 23, one new episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway” will be followed by an encore, and then the new episode of “Perfect Score” will be followed by an encore.
“Breaking Pointe” will debut its one-hour Season 2 premiere at 9 p.m. EST on Monday, July 29. “The Hunt,” a “Hunger Games”-lite reality show about young people struggling to survive and compete in the remote wilderness, will premiere Wednesday, July 31 at 9 p.m. EST.
