Gilles Marini, who plays Luc on ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters,” dropped by “The Fran Drescher Show” to teach the “tawk” show host how to make a holiday dessert on Thursday’s (Dec. 16) episode. And from what we hear, it was pretty hot in the kitchen.
Marini showed Fran Drescher how to make a traditional French holiday dessert called a Buche de Noel, which is a cake shaped like a log.
“My father was a pastry chef and he taught me,” Marini tells her and then he adds, “I’m a better pastry chef than an actor [or] dancer.”
To which the quick-witted Drescher responds, “You notice he didn’t say lover!”
The former model also tells Drescher that one of his earliest jobs was as a firefighter. “Can you imagine calling 911,” she asks the audience. “And having this guy come to your house?”
That’s not even the best parts. Apparently, Marini has been a fan of Drescher for a while. So when they hug at the end of the segment, he tells her that he had a dream of meeting her. And how does a classy lady like Drescher respond to that?
“I just had a big ‘O’ right now,” she says. That’s how.
