“She supports me. I see her every day. We’re doing absolutely great,” Bruce told People at the closing ceremonies of the All Sports Film Festival on Monday (Nov. 11), where Kris presented him with a Legendary Athletes Award.
Bruce’s words echo what Kris has been saying since the couple’s separation became public in early October. At the time, the two issued a joint statement, confirming they ware living separately and were much happier for it.
The only thing that’s upsetting Bruce doesn’t have to do with his relationship; rather, it’s how the media tends to tread his children. “Sometimes it’s very difficult,” he says. “Sometimes they’ll take some really, really tough shots at the family when they’re not deserved and totally false, especially with my kids. I don’t care what they say about me, but when they start ragging on my kids for things that they’re not doing and totally misrepresenting them, that really, really bothers me to say the least.”
