Bruno Mars is taking his act on the road again, with his summer Moonshine Jungle tour promoting his second album, “Unorthodox Jukebox.”
USA Today was on the scene at the first night of the tour, at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C., writing about super fans who were sporting Mars’ name on their boots, fedoras inspired by the pop star’s looks and “Doo-Wops” t-shirts to celebrate the festivities.
The site says one of the biggest hits of the night was on “Treasure,” with Mars going full-on Jackson 5 with a red leisure suit and disco ball.
At one points, Mars tells the crowd, “I’m hot as hell. I should have thought about this suit.”
Mars’ tour includes an East Coast leg, heading up to Canada and the West Coast in July and then the Midwest and South in August, before heading to Europe in October and September.
