The women of “The Talk” stopped by “The Arsenio Hall Show” on Wednesday night (Nov. 6). A clip was out there prior to the appearance airing that showed Sharon Osbourne saying the women on “The View” can go “f*** themselves” — except for Barbara Walters, of course.
But what else happened on the “Arsenio” round table? Here are some highlights:
When Arsenio points out that Sara Gilbert is the creator of “The Talk,” Sharon drunkenly (they call her “buzzy Sharon”) says she’s also a lesbian. But then Sharon says Gilbert is actually a [bleep bleep] and not only is the audio bleeped out but Sharon’s mouth is also blurred out, so … insert your own lesbian euphemism.
Sheryl Underwood does a little damage control about Sharon’s comment by saying there’s enough talk show audience for everybody and Julie Chen adds that they are their own women, much like how Arsenio is not the same as Jay Leno. Gilbert adds that they are trying to bring so much of their personal lives into the show.
The ladies are also asked about the original cast members who are no longer on the show. “The thing is, there’s always changes in new shows,” says Gilbert. “But as soon as Aisha and Sheryl came in, it was seamless. It felt like they belonged from the first moment.”
Sharon’s advice for Khloe Kardashian, having also dealt with a husband who is doing drugs, is, “Just stick in there, darling, it’ll all be fine. Let’s all drink to Khloe.”
It sounds as though Sharon was raising a glass to a lot of things on “Arsenio.”
