Carmelo Anthony went after Kevin Garnett on the court during the Knicks’ loss to the Boston Celtics in New York City. But the heated battle didn’t stop when the game ended.
Anthony skipped the media room and went straight for the Celtics’ bus to try to throw down with Garnett. Security intervened, however, and sent Carmelo away before any more ugliness went down.
It’s been reported Anthony told Garnett during their on-the-couirt trash talking session that he would see him after the game, and that Melo tried to wait for Kevin outside the Celtics’ locker room.
For his part, Garnett seemed willing to let bygones be bygones, telling reporters, “Listen, heat of the battle, man. Guys go back and forth. He’s trying to get his team to go, I’m trying to get my team to go, both teams are colliding, not to mention that it’s the Knicks and the Celtics.”
The video of Carmelo outside the team bus is above, and you can check out footage of the on-court drama below.
