TBS has decided not to go forward with another season of “The Good Life,” the reality series starring former “The Voice” coach Cee Lo Green, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Sources tell THR the decision to cancel the series was made due to ratings. The show averaged 677,000 viewers with seven-day delayed viewing factored in. The timing is interesting, as the news comes a day after Green came under fire for a pair of tweets about rape. “People who have really been raped REMEMBER!” one of them read. He then deleted the messages.
Green pleaded no contest to felony drug charges stemming from allegedly giving a woman ecstasy in 2012, during a date. The accuser claimed she woke up naked in Green’s bed after being given the drug.
