“Great” is subjective.
Charlie Sheen was in Colombia when his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, was arrested in Aspen for assault and cocaine possession — while their 2-year-old twin sons were at home with a nanny. He quickly returned to Los Angeles to be with his kids while Mueller’s lawyer negotiated her release.
Now, Sheen tells his BFFs at TMZ that their family is doing just fine. “The kids are doing great,” he said, cigarette dangling from his mouth, per usual. “I talked to Brooke last night; she’s doing great. We have a plan, but I can’t really discuss that, because you know, some s*** is private.” He assures the paparazzi that she’s in “really good spirits.”
He’s not looking for custody. “Nah,” he says. “We’re still interested in co-parenting. Kids need two parents, and you know, Brooke’s been through the same stuff I’ve been through, and she’s doing her best.”
As for allegations that Mueller intended to sell her cocaine (she had 4 grams on her, and was charged with intent to distribute), Sheen scoffs. “Come on. The child support I pay her? She’s gonna deal drugs? Never gonna happen. Never gonna happen.”
He spares no kind words for the Aspen police who arrested Mueller. “I wasn’t in Aspen, but I think a lot of that was a little bit suspect on the cops’ part, but again, wasn’t there, can’t really talk about it,” he says. “The cops in Aspen are Keystone on their finest day. These are the clowns that let Bundy go. Look it up. You know?”
