We’re sure the TV movie about 33 miners trapped for over two months half a mile underground is already in the works. That on its own is dramatic enough, so the added soapy romantic element almost makes it too hard to resist.
Marta Salinas, 56, who has been married to miner Yonni Barrios for 28 years tells a South American newspaper, “I’m happy because he was saved. It’s a miracle from God. But I won’t attend the rescue.”
So, why won’t Salinas be there when her husband is the 21st miner to resurface? Because during a candelight vigil held for the miners, she witnessed a woman sobbing and crying out her husband’s name.
]]>Susana Valenzuela, has been Yonni’s mistress for years. As if that weren’t enough, when told that he could have three people at the site to greet him when he comes back up, Barrios requested his sister, his wife and his mistress to be there. “He asked me to come, but it turns out he also invited the other woman and I have decency,” Salinas says. “This is very clear: It’s her or me.” Follow Zap2it on Twitter and Zap2it on Facebook for the latest TV, movie and celebrity news.
