They’ve already announced who will be inducted this year, and now they’ve announced some of the performers who will present the honorees at this year’s ROck and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. THR reports that there will be some very familiar faces at the April 18 ceremony.
The Hall of Fame, located in Cleveland, Oh., will hold it’s induction ceremony in Los Angeles, Ca. Among those appearing are Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson, who will present disco-queen Donna Summer, as well as perform a selection of her biggest hits.
Also on board are Dave Grohl and fellow Foo Fighter Taylor Hawkins, inducting the band Rush. John Mayer will help induct blues legend Freddie King, while Eagles’ front man Don Henley will present Randy Newman.
This is only the first group of inductors. Still to be announced are the presenters for Heart, Public Enemy, as well as lifetime achievement recipients Quincy Jones and Lou Adler.
Tickets for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction go on sale February 1.
