Like the rest of the “Mad Men” cast, Christina Hendricks has taken a blood oath not to reveal secrets about what lies ahead on the show. She can, however, talk a little bit about the fashion viewers will see in Season 7.
Appearing on “Conan” Monday (April 7), Hendricks told Conan O’Brien the show will continue tracking the fashion trends of the late 1960s in the new season, including the upward march of hemlines on women’s skirts. “There was a background actress yesterday … they wanted her to bend over and sign something, and I was like, ‘I don’t think we can do that. … This is normal television. It’s not, you know, HBO.”
Speaking of HBO, O’Brien asks Hendricks about reports that she’d be interested in joining “Game of Thrones” once “Mad Men” ends. Hendricks has in fact said something to that effect — but she wasn’t being entirely serious. Watch her explanation:
Season 7 of “Mad Men” premieres at 10 p.m. ET/PT Sunday (April 13) on AMC.
