So this was an unexpected surprise. One of our favorite comics of all time, Mitch Hedberg, was trending on Google this morning. At first we thought it was the anniversary of his death, but it turns out that it was actually March 29. So the only thing we can figure is that in true Hedberg fashion, the story was just a little slow in developing.
For those of you unfamiliar, Mitch Hedberg was stoner comic who was part Steven Wright, part Cheech & Chong and part George Carlin. He had numerous comedy specials and guest stared on programs like “That ’70s Show” and “Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist.” He died in 2005 at age 37 from a cocaine and heroin overdose.
Here are a couple of clips of the late, great (and we can’t underscore that enough) Mitch Hedberg.
