The 2010 Country Music Association Awards featured many great performances. Unfortunately, some of the fashions weren’t quite as great.
Carrie Underwood took the red carpet in an unfortunate black number that was very Morticia-Addams-goes-to-prom. Her fashions throughout the night were very hit and miss — we think her pink dress was our favorite.
Kellie Pickler‘s call was a gold dress that really washed her out (the Marilyn Monroe was not helping things either). C’mon, “Idol” girls. You can do better.
Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, who is a beautiful and not-at-all heavy girl, chose a form-fitting red gown that was not the most flattering thing she could’ve worn.
]]>Miranda Lambert donned a black and metallic dress for her performance of “That’s the Way the World Goes ‘Round.” It made her look boxy, heavy and kind of nutty. You did much better with your fuschia red carpet dress, Miranda. And Leighton Meester was there (due to her new country-music movie) in a weird brown and orange patterned dress that looked like Freddy Krueger got ahold of it.
