The 2014 CMT Music Awards ended the night on Wednesday (June 4) by awarding Video of the Year to Carrie Underwood for “See You Again.”
Underwood was something of a surprise winner, considering that the artist and her video did not win in the earlier category of Female Video of the year — that one went to Miranda Lambert’s “Automatic.”
In addition to coming out above Lambert in the Video of the Year category, Underwood also beat Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan,Taylor Swift, Thomas Rhett and Tim McGraw.
Was Underwood’s victory deserved? Or should the Video of the Year award have gone to someone else?
