Metal fans had better line up outside of the famed Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con early on Friday (July 19). Metallica is making their first appearance at the annual event, and they have some special plans lined up.
The heavy metal band will be there promoting their upcoming 3D movie “Metallica Trough The Never,” which is half concert film/half narrative. They will be joined for a panel by Dane DeHaan, the star of the movie, along with writer/director Nimrd Antal and producer Charlotte Huggins.
The panel will include a look at the movie’s trailer and poster, along with some preview footage. Then panel attendees will learn the location of a secret Metallica concert happening in San Diego that night and have the opportunity to win tickets.
“Metallica Through The Never” hits IMAX 3D on September 2, before releasing in theaters everywhere October 4.
