Upcoming episode spoilers
Davis gave hints about two upcoming episodes from Season 4. Episode 7 of the current season will feature a medical crisis that necessitates everyone staying at the high school. “It’s one of our bottle episodes,” Davis explains. “It’s a quarantine — the CDC gets called in. We were like, ‘What can we do in the high school this season?’ I said, ‘Quarantine!'”
A later will be big in a different way, exploring the mystery surrounding Deputy Parrish. “You’re going to learn more about him in an upcoming episode, 409, which is called ‘Un-Parrish-able,’ Davis says.
Assassins and death go together
The trailer shown at Comic-Con indicated that a lot of blood and death might be coming for the main characters of “Teen Wolf.” Unfortunately, Davis didn’t do much to ease fears of that nature. When asked about a clip in which Derek appeared to be on the verge of death, for example, Davis merely replies, “It kind of looked like that in the trailer, didn’t it?”
News about the assassins flooding into Beacon Hills isn’t much better. “I can say that the assassins, their success rate gets higher and higher. So things get pretty bad and pretty bleak,” Davis explains. “People have to risk their lives for each other.”
Hopefully the good guys will make it!
Secrets and betrayals
One of the big secrets teased about Season 4 is that of Lydia Martin — why she is a banshee, in particular. “There’s a lot of long plans that come to fruition. And you learn a little bit of history too — like Lydia Martin’s family,” Davis says. In other secret news, the reveal to Malia about her father being Peter Hale won’t go down easily: “That secret’s going to come out. And how it comes out is not good for anyone — especially Stiles.”
Another secret might be Peter’s plans. The Season 4 trailer reveals that Peter has schemes directed at Scott — and those schemes might just lead to the new Alpha’s doom. “His motivations are very much about power, but I can say he’s still loyal to his family,” says Davis. “He’s sort of like the prince who thinks the crown belongs to him. And that crown is his Alpha status. That’s why he said in [Season] 3a, ‘I am the Alpha. I’ve always been the Alpha.’ Even though he doesn’t have the red eyes to prove it. But he may again.”
Ominous enough for you? To find out how all of this goes down, watch “Teen Wolf” Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
