A crew member of the long-running television series “Cops” was killed by “friendly fire” while shooting an episode in Omaha, Neb. Bryce Dion, an audio supervisor, was 38.
Langley Productions says Dion is the first “Cops” crew member to be killed in action in the show’s 25 year history. Executive producer Morgan Langley tells “GMA”: “He did something that he loved and was passionate aboutt. We’ve been very fortunate over the years — we’ve never had an incident like this. Now we’re dealing with it, and it’s a very sad day for us.”
