Ah, life after “High School Musical” doesn’t seem too bad, right?
EW reports that “HSM” alum Corbin Bleu is in talks to join Simon Cowell’s new reality competition series “The X Factor.” While it’s not a done deal, Bleu and “Pussycat Dolls” singer Nicole Scherzinger are close to signing on to co-host the FOX reality show.
Other than “HSM,” Bleu, 22, is known for his work on Ashton Kutcher’s short-lived CW series “The Beautiful Life: TBL.” He also starred in the hit Broadway show “In The Heights.” Recently, he appeared on an episode of CBS’ “The Good Wife.”
The show must have its full judging and hosting line-up in place by May 8, which is the day auditions begin. So far, the only confirmed judge is L.A. Reid. Cowell has said the other two judges will be Paula Abdul and Cheryl Cole, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
What do you think of Bleu joining “The X Factor” as a host, Zappers?
