This is the week on “Dancing With the Stars” that always separates the amateurs from the not quite as good amateurs — the dreaded week when the stars have to learn and perform not one, but two dances.
For Season 10, it was Chad Ochocinco and Niecy Nash who seemed to suffer from the added difficulty of double dances. Last week, both Nash and Ochocinco had improved their scores and earned higher than usual praise from the judges. But Week 8 proved to be a different story.
Len Goodman told Ochocinco that the rushed schedule left “no time to polish [his] dance” and that it needed “a bit more refinement.” The judges told Nash her arms were flailing, her transitions were lacking and her control was nonexistent. Ouch.
Ochocinco scored a 45 out of a possible 60, and Nash scored a 43 for the night — a good distance behind Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews, who tied for second with 53, and Nicole Scherzinger with her nearly perfect 59.
However, Ochocinco and Nash seem to have strong fan support that could keep them around longer than their scores would indicate. Plus, it was Andrews who surprisingly ended up in the Bottom Two last week.
Do YOU think Chad and Niecy will find themselves in the Bottom Two Tuesday night? Who will go home?
