If you just couldn’t get enough of Tony Dovolani pushing Kate Gosselin around like a shopping cart, as Bruno Tonioli said, you’re in luck. Gosselin will return to the “Dancing With the Stars” stage on May 24 and May 25 for the season finale. Judging from Gosselin’s recent TLC blog post, it couldn’t come too soon.
Gosselin and her eight children have been playing “Dancing With the Stars” make believe games since they returned home to Pennsylvania. “Unlike judges who shall remain nameless, each costumed child received an exuberant “TEN!!!” from the mother judge!” Kate writes. While playing with the kids, Gosselin happened to look over at the basement shelf where she left her six “dirty, well-used” pairs of dancing shoes. She says she felt “a wave of sadness mixed with a longing.”
“Ohhhh suddenly I missed EVERYTHING about
dancing — not only the friends I have made and stay in touch with
almost daily, but also learning the steps and even the fear of sudden
death that the dance floor caused me! Gulp.”
Though she clearly misses the experience of being on the show, Gosselin has enjoyed the opportunity to get back to her usual routine – and her exercise of choice, running on the treadmill. She says she’s happy to “have the time to have an entire thought,” but she’s looking forward to returning for the season’s grand finale.
“C’mon,” she writes. “I know you missed my unique dance style!“
