Classical week on “Dancing With the Stars” saw the second round of team dances. This week it was Jaleel White, Katherine Jenkins, Roshon Fegan and Maria Menounos on Team Tango vs. William Levy, Melissa Gilbert and Donald Driver on Team Paso Doble.
The teams were actually pretty evenly matched. Going into it, we felt like the team with Melissa Gilbert would really be at a disadvantage, but being paired with the two strongest male celebrity dancers on a dance like the paso doble sure does help.
We definitely were pleasantly surprised at Roshon Fegan – he really brought it for that team dance. That may be the best we’ve seen him do all season. And on Team Paso, Donald Driver definitely ruled the school.
The judges were complimentary of both dances. Len preferred the paso doble, while Carrie Ann preferred the tango and Bruno seemed to like them both equally. The scores shook out to be 27 for Team Tango and 26 for Team Paso. We actually felt like Tango was more than one point better than Paso, but what do you think? Vote below. We’ll post video just as soon as we have it.
