David Hasselhoff has tried for years to get a “Baywatch” movie made and now that one is being written, he has revealed that he won’t be reprising the role Mitch Buchanan, the lifeguard he played on the small screen for over 200 episodes.
But he will be playing himself. He tells the Daily Express, “I’ve just met the guy writing the film. I’m going to play myself. We’re trying to make it a very cool, updated version.”
It may be a lot of fun — “Ghostbusters” director Ivan Reitman is set to produce the movie and it has been rumored that Pamela Anderson and Justin Timberlake will appear.
