The cast of the biopic about famed porn star Linda Lovelace continues to grab big-time stars. Demi Moore has joined “Lovelace” as noted feminist Gloria Steinem.
Steinem is a women’s rights activist and journalist who spoke out against pornography. In Steinem’s 1980 Ms. Magazine article called “The Real Linda Lovelace,” she writes that that the actress was in an abusive relationship with her husband and that he forced her into prostitution.
Moore is the most recent celeb to join the film about Lovelace, the star of the legendary 1972 porn film “Deep Throat.” Other additions to the film include Adam Brody who will play Harry Reems and Eric Roberts joins as lie detector expert Nat Laurendi. The cast also includes Amanda Seyfried in the title role, James Franco as Hugh Hefner and Peter Sarsgaard as Chuck Traynor, Lovelace’s husband.
