After the main women of “Desperate Housewives” made it clear that they’re sticking behind their boss Marc Cherry amid Nicollette Sheridan’s allegations that he attacked her and created a hostile environment on set, an inside source says they’re not telling the whole story.
“Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman, Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross are staying out of the rumor mill on this one and letting it play out for the most part,” an insider tells FOX411.com. “They will not bite the hand that feeds them, and Marc is the man with all the power on set. He has absolute power with the story and the ladies will stand behind him.”
]]>Longoria Parker’s and other reported statements
that the incident in which Sheridan claims Cherry hit her occurred
about two years ago and involved a scene that none of the other
actresses were in. So, their joint statement would be correct when it
states that they had “no first-hand knowledge of what Nicollette may or
may not have experienced.”
The insider goes on to paint Cherry as a powerful, yet insecure man, with a huge ego.
