PETA may not approve, but we do. The playful photoshoot accompanies an interview called “Kruger Town” (yay for puns) in which Kruger says that she almost didn’t get her breakout role in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” because Tarantino didn’t believe she was really German.
Kruger, whose real last name is Heidkr�ger, was determined to get the role, though. “You know how it is,” Kruger says. “Sometimes filmmakers get hung up on
something. I basically had to fly to Germany and show him my passport.”
