Six days ago, “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof celebrated the two-year anniversary of the show’s highly polarizing series finale — but while the show is in the past, that doesn’t mean that the drama is over.
Fan favorite Dominic Monaghan took to Twitter this week to promote his new documentary series, “Wild Things,” this week, with a fan Q&A. One fan asked him to encourage his old “Lost” co-star Matthew Fox to join Twitter.
Monaghan didn’t seem up to phoning Fox, though, as he replied to the fan bluntly: “he beats women. No thanks.”
Last year, Fox was accused of punching a female bus driver in the crotch and the breast when she refused to give him a ride — but he managed to avoid being charged in the incident. Monaghan, however, accuses Fox of more repeated incidents of violence.
“I KNOW IT WAS WRONG BUT WHAT?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE GOOD TIMES YOU HAD TOGETHER?!” the fan asked Monaghan, to which he replied: “you don’t know either of us. he beats women. not isolated incidents. often. not interested.”
He insists on the veracity of the statement — and says he’s not worried about Fox pressing charges against him for his accusations. “an accusation is when you ‘claim’ someone did something wrong. i know,” he wrote. “And it’s very difficult to sue someone for speaking the truth.”
