“Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson and his wife, Korie Robertson, are open to adopting more children. The couple says they would be willing to add to their brood that already includes one adopted son, a foster daughter, and three biological children.
When the family traveled to Washington D.C. to accept an awards at the Adoption Institute’s “Angels in Adoption” Awards Gala, In Touch asked Willie if he is willing to adopt again.
“Sure,” he replies. “There are plenty of kids who need homes. That’s why we’re all here. We have adopted children and we have natural children … and there’s no difference between them.”
On stage that night, Willie revealed he and Korie had to scrape together money to pay the adoption fee for “Lil Willie.” But he also says it was worth it. “I’ve done a lot of cool things in the past couple of years,” says Willie. “I’ve been to Super Bowls, I’ve met Presidents — but the best decision we ever made — that made the biggest impact on our life was the adoption of our son Will.”
