In the Sheen vs. Cryer/Kutcher battle at the Emmys, the winner is … Charlie Sheen.
Sheen, who was a surprise addition to show presented himself as calm, respectable and humble. This is, of course, in stark contrast to his behavior earlier in the year when he heaved insults at “Two and a Half Men” EP Chuck Lorre as well as his co-star Jon Cryer.
Before presenting the award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, Sheen addressed the audience and specifically his former co-workers.
“From the bottom of my heart,” he says, “I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television.”
When the tandem of Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher took the stage to present Best Writing for a Drama series, they offered a snide barb at the expense of Sheen.
“I do not think you’re a troll,” Kutcher says to Cryer, a reference to when Sheen called Cryer that same term.
Boys will be boys.
