Jessica Lange might’ve just taken home an Emmy for her work in “American Horror Story: Coven,” but she’s already looking forward to “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” the FX anthology series’ 2014 edition.
“I’m actually looking forward to this season. I think this season is going to be the most extraordinary that we’ve done,” Lange tells reporters in the press room Monday night (Aug. 25) after her big win.
“I think that what we’ve got, what’s working there, the potential is pretty extraordinary. And if it can all come together and if we can keep on track, I think it’s going to be something really, really special.”
Certainly the work Lange and her “American Horror Story” classmates have been doing has connected with the audience. Lange recalls an interaction she had with a group of young fans that made her laugh.
“One day I was walking down the street in New Orleans, and I passed this group of young men that were sitting on a stoop. And as I went by, I heard the guy say, ‘Holy s*** balls, the Supreme!’ I thought that was the greatest thing ever.”
