Erin Andrews may not be able to overtly help her boyfriend, NHL star Jarret Stoll, with his fantasy football league, but she’s certainly not going to let him embarrass her, either.
The Fox Sports host appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday (Nov. 6), where she admitted that, though it would be unfair for Stoll to rely on the considerable football knowledge her work has provided her, she won’t just sit back and let him flounder. “I’m not allowed to help him, but I’m not gonna date a loser,” Andrews told Kimmel. “I need him to win.”
While it’s not exactly clear how Andrews plans to make that happen, fairly, she was clear about whether dating a sports star has made her work difficult. “It doesn’t cause any sort of problems,” she admitted, before revealing how she met Stoll. “You know who set us up? Michael Strahan.”
Andrews praised Strahan’s matchmaking abilities, nothing that he’d also introduced “Rizzoli & Isles” star Angie Harmon with her husband Jason Sehorn. She also admitted that the “Live! with Kelly and Michael” co-host is one of the few she’d trust with her love life. “I would’ve never let Terry Bradshaw or Jimmy Johnson set me up,” she told Kimmel with a laugh.
Do you think it’s fair that Andrews advise her boyfriend on his fantasy football league?
