Gia Allemand‘s friends and family were on hand Thursday (Aug. 22) to celebrate Gia’s life and mourn her passing during a funeral service at Trinity Grace Church in New York City.
A rep for Allemand says the funeral was open to the public “with the intention to welcome family and friends from near and far.”
Allemand passed away last week after a suicide attempt left her on life support, which she was taken off of two days later.
Gia’s mother Donna Micheletti, father Eugene Allemand, her siblings and boyfriend Ryan Anderson were all in attendance, as were some of her co-stars from the “Bachelor” and “Bachelor Pad.” Her former boyfriend, MLB pitcher Carl Pavano, sent flowers (pictured above).
The short service included two eulogies and Gia’s favorite hymn, “Amazing Grace.” ABC News reports that the program read, “The family of Gia Allemand wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to all those, near and far, who have extended words of encouragement and support during this time of incredible loss.”
