Farrah Abraham is expecting some big bucks from the sex tape she filmed with porn star James Deen, and if she doesn’t get them than she doesn’t want to sell. The “Teen Mom” star sent Vivid Entertainment a cease and desist letter that acknowledges that the tape is hers.
“Ms. Abraham retains ownership rights in this video and any unlawful conduct could infringe on those rights,” the letter reads, according to TMZ, though the site speculates the tape will still go public one Abraham and Vivid head honcho Steve Hirsch reach an expected deal.
The whole sex tape scheme doesn’t seem to have gone the way Abraham would have liked. Though she initially claimed that the tape was meant to immortalize how great her 21-year-old body looks, Deen tells a different story. He told “Today” (via The Daily Mail) that he was asked to pretend to be Abraham’s boyfriend to give the tape a homemade feel.
“They wanted to send us out on a date and then call the tabloids to come,” Deen said. “I told them that I am not a prostitute and I’m not going to go on fake dates with people for the tabloids. … If you’re going to make a celebrity sex tape and try to pass it off as an amateur home video, you don’t hire a well-known porn star! You hire, like, some random dude.”
That resulted in Abraham telling Us Weekly that she’s “very disappointed” in her costar, calling the tape a “personal video.”
“I will not be settling for anything less then a couple million,” she tells the site. “I’ve learned a lot. As my young fans and others should expect I made sure my partner was tested and clean as well as contraception was used. This is just something I personally needed for me.”
