Now that decisions have been made about which new shows will be making their way to our TV screens in 2014 and 2015, it’s time to see what all the fuss is about.
FOX debuted trailers for all their new series on Monday (May 12), and among the shows picked up to series are “Empire” and “Hieroglyph.” Both will premiere in 2015.
“Empire” stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson in the “sexy and powerful new drama about the head of a music empire whose three sons and ex-wife all battle for his throne.” The series features music from Timbaland.

“Hieroglyph,” the 13-episode action/adventure drama, stars Max Brown, Reece Ritchie, Condola Rashad and John Rhys-Davies. The series is set in ancient Egypt and follows “a notorious thief who is plucked from prison to serve the Pharoah, forcing him to navigate palace intrigue, seductive concubines, criminal underbellies and divine sorcerers, as he races to stop the downfall of one of history’s greatest civilizations.”
