The verdict is in on “Franklin & Bash,” and it’s a favorable one for the freshman series.
“‘Franklin & Bash’ has broken out as a hugely entertaining series with great characters, sharp writing and a terrific cast,” says Michael Wright, Turner’s head of programming. “We’re thrilled that the show has drawn such a remarkably strong following.”
The series has earned decent-but-not-great ratings in its initial airings on TNT, with most episodes drawing between 2.5 million and 2.7 million viewers. It grows significantly thanks to DVR use, however; TNT says the show’s live +7 average so far this season is 3.9 million viewers, 1.8 million of whom fall in the adults 18-49 demographic.
“Franklin & Bash’s” inaugural season wraps up on Aug. 3.
