Now this is something Tom Haverford can get behind.
When new network FXX launches on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2), it’ll do so with a “Parks and Recreation” “Treat Yo’ Self” marathon, marking the first time the beloved NBC comedy will appear off network.
From the moment FXX goes live at 7 a.m. ET, it will be all “Parks,” all day, with the marathon coming to a close at midnight. Kicking off with the pilot (and a reminder that Paul Schneider was once a part of this show), the network will air iconic episodes including “Pawnee Zoo” (when Amy Poehler‘s Leslie unwittingly performed a gay penguin wedding), “Ron and Tammy: Part Two” (Nick Offerman. Behind bars. Cornrows. ‘Nuff said.) and “Andy and April’s Fancy Party” (aka the time Aubrey Plaza‘s April and Chris Pratt‘s Andy got married).
FXX is the off-shoot of FX, where a handful of the latter’s comedies will be relocating. “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “The League” and “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell” will all premiere on the new network on Wednesday (Sept. 4).
Will you tune in and treat yo’ self this Labor Day?
