Now that “Community” is no more, star Gillian Jacobs has found her next TV role in another cult comedy.
Jacobs has booked a recurring part on Season 4 of HBO’s “Girls,” according to TVLine. She’ll be playing a character named Mimi-Rose Howard and will show up in the season’s fifth episode, which is named for her character.
Beyond that, though, there’s not much information about the character or how she enters the world of Hannah (Lena Dunham) and her friends. She’ll be the second member of the “Community” cast to appear on the show; Donald Glover appeared in a couple of Season 2 episodes.
Season 4 of “Girls” is set to premiere in early 2015 on HBO.
