“Glee” star Jane Lynch sat down with Larry King on Sept. 16 to talk about the Season 2 premiere of her hit show and her unique career trajectory.

Despite being recognizable for years, it turns out Lynch has only just recently gotten to relax and let the offers roll in.

“Before Glee, yeah, I was still auditioning so it was a great gift to be handed to me,” she says. “[Auditioning] is a bi***.”

Lynch says she hasn’t had to audition lately, but she’s never been one to turning much down. “My agent used to say that I’d work for a dollar-fifty and a steak,” she laughs. “Maybe not so much anymore.”
