Adele‘s winning streak with “Skyfall” has continued tonight at the 70th Golden Globe Awards. The eight-time Grammy winner took home her first Globe when she won Best Song for her contribution to the last James Bond film, and she truly seemed surprised.
“Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!” Adele squealed in excitement at the start of her acceptance speech, adding with a laugh, “Honestly, I’ve come out for a night out.”
She continued, “It’s very strange to be here, and thank you for letting me be a part of your world for a night. … [My friend and I have] been kicking ourselves laughing all of it.”
After thanking Sony, MGM and everyone who worked on “Skyfall,” Adele thanked her boyfriend Simon and “my lovely son.” She gave birth back in October, and the Golden Globes are her first public appearance since.
