“The Good Wife” is arguably the best drama on TV right now, which naturally means it has some famous fans. Case in point — during Sunday night’s (Dec. 1) 100th episode, newsman Piers Morgan was engaging in a funny Twitter exchange with star Josh Charles.
Morgan: “Hate seeing you so sad and tearful @MrJoshCharles – anyone would think Spurs lost 0-6 last week. #TheGoodStrife.”
Charles: “Ladies & Gents: Piers Morgan!”
Morgan: ” WHOOAAAA… @donnabrazile starring in #TheGoodWife – so jealous, and she was so good too. When do I get my shot @MrJoshCharles ?”
Charles: “Piers, the word is you’re incredibly difficult to work with and talk way too much about cricket on set.”
Donna Brazile, a political analyst and vice chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, has guest-starred on “The Good Wife” several times as herself. Perhaps some day, Morgan will get his chance as well.
The award-winning CBS drama returns in January 2014 with new episodes, airing Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
