“When we were together, I would have done anything for you.”
Oh, Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena (Blake Lively). You really never learn.
In a preview for Monday’s (Nov. 8) episode, “Gossip Girl’s” original “it” couple D & S appear to still have feelings for each other, if they ever really went away in the first place.
Though Serena is hooking up on the sly with her cab-obsessed professor, Colin (Sam Page), Dan is still very much interested in his step-sister (Yep, it’s still gross).
“We agreed not to do anything until the semester is over. It’s romantic,” says Serena of her forbidden love affair. Um, Serena? Chuck flying around the world to buy Blair her favorite things from each country is romantic. Watch an Audrey Hepburn movie and take some notes.
“You’re worth more than a guest lecturer fee. Everybody knows that. I just wish you did,” Dan counters after saying it would be more romantic if Colin quit his job for her. We would agree with Humphrey, but Serena’s relationships last about as long as Blair’s stint at NYU. Don’t quit your day job, Colin.
What else can you expect from “Juliet Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”? If the promo is any indication, lots and lots of Blair and Chuck sexytimes. “Enemies with Benefits” is their best look yet.
