Last week we showed you how Little J (Taylor Momsen) was about to face the wrath of Blair (Leighton Meester) for trying to destroy Serena (Blake Lively) and Nate’s (Chace Crawford) relationship. Well, now we have clips showing their one-on-one play out — and you have to give credit to Blair for having perfected the art of putting someone in their place … ouch.
Also getting a milder Blair scolding for contributing to the rift in Serenate is Dan (Penn Badgley). Dan argues back that maybe what’s happened is a sign, to which Blair replies with one of her notable quotables:
“Signs are for the religious, the superstitious and the lower class,” dismissively says Blair.
At which point she turns her head right and sees the Empire State Building, where she’s supposed to meet Chuck or lose him forever. Is Blair about to have a religious/superstitious/lower class moment? The season finale trailer says that’s a oui, oui!
