Current Guns ‘N Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed has announced some rather exciting news for rock fans – Guns ‘N Roses will be sort-of reuniting for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction April 14 at the Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
“I know that all the original band is going to be there,” Reed tells Billboard. “I don’t know exactly what’s going to go down. It’s one of those things I’m sure will all come together and be really cool. I’m just going to go in with a good attitude and a clear head and a grateful heart.”
The original members include Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagen and Steven Adler. Just because they will be in attendance doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll pick up their instruments to perform, but it’s a start at least. Especially since the group’s differences are well known.
Reed says the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honor is “pretty cool…especially when you think about all the people who are already in and helped make rock ‘n’ roll what it is. It’s areal who’s who of great musicians.”
We certainly hope the band decides to perform together.
