It’s official: Gwen Stefani is stepping into Christina Aguilera’s stilettos as judge of “The Voice” for Season 7 of the hit NBC reality singing competition, and she’ll make her debut on the show sooner than you think — on Monday (May 5) singing a duet with her fellow new coach Pharrell Williams.
Pharrell and Stefani will perform his new single “Come Get It Bae” and her hit “Hollaback Girl” on the May 5 episode, and their coaching tenure will begin in the fall. The two performed together at Coachella in early April.
Aguilera isn’t leaving the show for good, however. The pregnant pop star has confirmed that she will return for Season 8.
