What did we miss last Friday that we will get this Friday instead. Check out the full episode descriptions for the April 26 episodes below.
“The Ballad of Lon Sarofsky” — Penny (Casey Wilson) rebounds from her breakup with Pete by having a torrid affair with the worst choice ever, the Car Czar (guest star Rob Corddry). To make matters worse, Penny is staying with Brad (Damon Wayans, Jr.) and Jane (Eliza Coupe), who disapprove. Meanwhile, Max (Adam Pally) enters the “Mr. Gay Gay Chicago” pageant — with Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) and Dave (Zachary Knighton) as his coaches — in order to make some money.
“Un-sabotagable” — Max’s ex-roommate Chase (guest star Mark-Paul Gosselaar) returns to sabotage Max (after his own life fell into ruins). Unfortunately, Max’s life is so pathetic, Chase can’t find anything to destroy. Wanting to prove Chase wrong, Max asks Jane to help him get his life together. Alex, meanwhile, needs the rest of the gang to help after Dave challenges her to use all of her Groupons.
Two more episodes will air on Friday, May 3.
“Deuce Babylove 2: Electric Babydeuce” — Penny’s mother (guest star Megan Mullally) and Dave’s father (guest star Michael McKean) come to visit and to announce that they are planning to adopt a baby together. Penny and Dave do not react well. Brad and Jane decide to join an exclusive tennis club so as to have some time alone. Unfortunately, Max and Alex insist on investigating this change.
“Brothas and Sisters” (Season 3 finale) — The previously unseen third Kerkovich sister, Brooke (guest star Stephanie March), appears and Jane has to plan the wedding for her even more perfect and exacting older sister. Brad has trouble too, dealing with Brooke’s perfect African-American fiance, Elliot (guest star James Lesure). Meanwhile, Alex and Dave are hiding a big secret.
“Happy Endings” airs Fridays at 8 and 8:30pm on ABC.
