“Boardwalk Empire” star Kelly Macdonald has landed a part in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” the final installment of the insanely popular series. Along with Macdonald, 14-year-old Benedict Clark and 13-year-old Bertie Gilbert have been cast in the film. So who will they be playing?
]]>According to The Wrap, Macdonald will be playing the ghostly Grey Lady. Fans of the book know she is also known as Helena Ravenclaw, the late daughters of one of Hogwarts’ founders. The role was played by Nina Young in the first film, “Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone.” Gilbert will be playing Draco Malfoy’s son, Scorpius, who is seen in the epilogue. Warner Bros. decided to reshoot the epilogue after fans complained of the actors’ makeup, which made them look much older than they were supposed to (35). We are most excited about Clark’s role: Young Severus Snape. One of our favorite parts of the final book was the flashback to Snape’s sad childhood, so we’re extremely happy that it is being kept in the film. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” hits theaters on July 15, 2011, a day on which the muggles at Zap2it will surely weep. The film officially wrapped after recently reshooting the epilogue.
