That’s two Dillon Panthers off the market.
“Hart of Dixie” star Scott Porter — perhaps better known as “Friday Night Lights'” wounded quarterback Jason Street — has officially put a ring on it. Us reports that Porter proposed to Kelsey Mayfield, his girlfriend of four years, last month. Spoiler alert: She said yes!
“It was during a trip to NYC. They’re living together in Los Angeles,” a source says. Mayfield currently works as a casting director for ABC’s daytime talk show “The Revolution.” She and Porter met on the set of “Friday Night Lights.”
“Kelsey thought Scott was a stunt guy on ‘Friday Night Lights’ because she cheered at The University of Texas and bunch of former UT football players and mutual friends were the stunt team. It wasn’t till a month later she discovered he was an actor on the show,” the source says.
Porter’s former co-star, Zach Gilford, is also set to tie the knot.
