The life of an actress can be pretty demanding. Hayden Panettiere found that out the hard way when she tried to multitask coming on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” with taking care of her own personal needs.
“This was multi-tasking on different level. I was on the phone; [DeGeneres’ producer] said, ‘How’s the show?’ I said [screaming], ‘It’s great, it’s amazing,'” the “Nashville” star recalls to DeGeneres. “I said finally, ‘I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, I have to be honest with you I’m getting a bikini wax right now and I thought I can do this but I can’t. Can you call me back in 10 minutes?’ He’s like, ‘I’ve heard a lot of things before, but that’s a first.'”
When DeGeneres notes that some people welcome the distraction of having a conversation, Panettiere responds, “You know, I never find that to actually work. People are trying to talk to you, distract you, you’re just like, ‘Shh don’t talk, don’t talk to me I’m going zen.'”
Long story short? “We’re all good,” Panettiere says of herself and her lady parts.
As for Panettiere’s engagement to Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, she says that he doesn’t quite understand American wedding planning.
“He’s very confused about our traditions,” she admits. “I don’t think he really knows. ‘I mean honeymoons, what is this honeymoon?’ I said, ‘It’s when you go on a vacation afterwards,’ or ‘you can’t see the bride in her dress before’ … ‘Why? Why not? It’s dress.’ That’s just the way things go. He just doesn’t know the woman’s side of the family is supposed to pay for the wedding. Shh.”
