Good news for fans of HBO’s cult comedy series “The Comeback”: The network is considering ordering another season of the long-canceled show.
According to Deadline, HBO is in talks with creators Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow about a new season of the show almost a decade after the original premiered in the summer of 2005.
Although it lasted for just 13 episodes, the single-camera mockumentary made a big pop culture impression. “The Comeback” starred Kudrow as Valerie Cherish, a sitcom actress with a reality show that documented her attempt at a comeback on a new sitcom. It earned three Emmy nominations but not a second season.
